Sign-off timecards with pending changes setup

Provides information on setting up timecards for sign-off with pending changes and allowing managers to approve changes in signed-off time.

To help streamline payroll processing, you can sign-off timecards that have pending changes. Sign-off for timecards with pending changes is available for both employees and managers. Managers can sign-off timecards with pending changes individually or by group edit. To allow sign-off of timecards that have pending changes, enable the Sign-off Timecards with Pending Timecard Edits feature switch. See Feature Switch.

Note: Sign-off restrictions still apply even when this feature is enabled. If you have timecards with pending changes that also have sign-off restrictions configured, the timecard will not be signed-off if the sign-off restriction exists.
Once timecards that have pending changes are signed-off, managers can still approve those changes after sign-off. When pending changes are approved after sign-off, the necessary historical corrections are generated. Managers that need to approve pending changes after sign-off need the Approve Pending Timecard Edits in Signed-off Period access control point set to allowed in their function access profile. See Manager - Department Manager ACPs.
Note: Pending timecard changes that appear in the Pending Changes panel for signed-off timecards must be approved or denied individually.
