Attestation Questions
questions are the questions you want to pose to users when using the application or a data collection device. Examples of Attestation questions are:
- Do you have a fever today? (when punching in, for example)
- Did you take your meal break? (when punching out, for example)
Each question is associated with answers, which you can create independently or as part of the answer creation process and then assign to the question. See Attestation Answers for more information.
Create and assign Attestation questions
- From the Main Menu, select Administration > Application Setup, then select Attestation.
- From the Attestation list, select Attestation Questions. The Attestation Questions page opens.
- Note: The first line in the Name column is Empty question, which is the default that is assigned to every button in the system to ensure that offline punches at a data collection device are delivered to the timecard when the clock returns to online status. You cannot edit this line.
- On the Attestation Questions page, click Create .
- In Name enter the name for the question.
- In Question Text enter the text that you want to display to the user for the Attestation question.
- In Question Variable enter the variable associated with this question.
- Note: Variables are referenced in UKG Pro Workforce Management, but they must be created using the Workflow Designer. See the Business Processes Developer's Guide for more information.
- In the Attestation Answers grid, specify the answers you want to associate with this question. You can do this by:
- Selecting an existing answer and clicking Assign
- Note: The Attestation Answers grid displays all Attestation answers that have been created in your system.
- Clicking Create to create a new answer. See Attestation Answers for more information.
- Repeat steps 4 through 7 to create and assign additional answers. You can provide as many answers and actions as necessary.
- To change the order of the answers, click tap Re-Order Selection . In the Assigned Attestation Answers dialog box:
- Select the answer you want to reorder and click tap the Up and Down buttons to move it. Use the double buttons to move the selected answer to the top or bottom of the list.
- Click Tap Save Order.
- Click Save.
