Additional Details

Use Additional Details to troubleshoot errors in integration runs.

If configured, Additional Details shows you more error messages than the Run Summary can show, and can help you troubleshoot errors in integration runs.

Example: If an integration run finishes with a status of Partial Failed, one or more records have errors or were disqualified. Additional Details shows you which records failed or were disqualified, and for which reasons.

Example Additional Details:

  • Invalid format: "The date must use the format MM/DD/YYYY or MM-DD-YYYY."
  • Missing actions: "The employee { employeeName} is not signed-off."
  • Pre-run checks: "The database is offline. Check the database or connection and try again."
  • Look-up errors in cross-reference tables: Examples: "The pay rule is not in the Timekeeper cross-reference table", or "The paycode is not in the Timekeeper cross-reference table."
  1. Click Tap Main Menu > Maintenance > Integrations.
  2. Select an integration run.
  3. In the Run Summary, click tap Go to Additional Details. Additional Details can display up to 1000 error records with the following information:
    • Source: The name and date of the integration run
    • Message: The error message
    • Key: A domain-related identifier. Example: Person Number
    • Value: The error that caused the run to fail or the data to be rejected
    • Description: Details about the error such as the data that was processed or the action that occurred
    • Date Time: The date and time when the integration run submitted the errors to the system
  4. (Optional) Sort or filter the list of error records as follows:
    1. Click Tap Refine .
    2. In the Refine slider, you can Sort or Filter the errors by Key, Value, Description, and Date Time. To clear filter criteria, click tap Delete Refinements .
  5. (Optional) To copy the error records to another application, such as a text file or spreadsheet, do the following:
    1. Select an error record.
    2. Do one of the following:

      To select multiple records, press and hold Crtl while you click tap each of the records that you want to copy.

      To select multiple, neighboring records, press and hold Shift while you click tap the last error record that you want to copy.

    3. Press Ctrl + C.
    4. Paste the records into the other application.
